BackgroundVetu arrived in Eorzea not all that long ago with his brother, and has been slowly exploring ever since. Originally claiming to be from Golmore, the two eventually started revealing to those closer to them that they actually came from Meracydia, the closed off southern continent. Where they once believed themselves to be above Eorzeans, they've since come to enjoy their time here, and wish to stay.PersonalityHolding typical Youngest Sibling EnergyTM, Vetu is a menace even on his "best" behaviour. He's the impulsive and emotional one that often speaks his mind without really thinking first. Though whether he's right or wrong, he's often confident and cocky in most things.And of course he's an extra menace to his brother. How he acts with Magnus is a pretty good example of how he acts to anyone he's started to grow fond of; teasing, light shoving and roughhousing, but instant concern if they seem slightly off.

If there's one thing that's obvious just from spending five minutes around the brothers, it's that they're incredibly close. Vetu is the younger one by three years and though he may often try to get a rise out of Magnus for fun, it's Magnus that he looks to for how to act when things get serious. That's not to say they don't argue - they do. But Vetu knows when he's pushed things past being playful, and truly arguing back against Magnus is a very rare thing for him to do.

Hooks

  • Please note that these are only suggestions and are not all the possibilities for interacting with Vetu, simply the most common I could think of.

  • Pickpocketing | Vetu loves to claim he has "sticky fingers" and more often than not, he'll go rummaging in the pockets of those not on guard. It can get him in a significant amount of trouble.

  • Exploring | Vetu and his brother seem to be slowly exploring Eorzea, learning what they can. Anyone willing to teach them something is bound to hold their attention for a while, though in Vetu's case this is assuming it has nothing to do with reading.

  • Magic | His reaction to magic is a strange one. Is he scared of it? Is he just cautious? Vetu often seems wary of any magic usage, but his small comments now and again would hint that he knows more than he lets on. In regards to magic, he may not be the clueless idiot he often portrays.

RP Rules

  • LGBTQ+ acceptance at the least is a must. I don't mind IC homophobia etc as long as it is ONLY IC. As a trans man who mostly dates guys, if you don't support LGBTQ+ people then you definitely won't like me :)

  • I am comfortable with most topics of RP ranging from simple adventures and fluff to very dark angst and 18+ themes.

  • NO RP partners under 18. Even if the RP is very tame.

  • My character is open to romance, I am not. Please understand we are not our characters and while I do hope to become good friends with my RP partners, I'm not looking for anything more.

  • Implied ERP is okay but not without plot. Even a one night stand, if it were to happen, can help push the plot. "Implied" means fading to black but I'm happy to discuss general details.

  • Discord RP is generally preferred when new raids and savages have been released, as much of my in game time will be spent raiding and capping tomes. I can still attend some venues and meet-ups, but not as many as usual.

  • Lore bending and such is all good with me, as long as it's discussed beforehand.

I've been RPing for several years now but only recently really got into it in FFXIV.Huge note: I am also a hardcore raider so especially around the release of new savage tiers/ultimates, my RP time can get a little scarce as I usually run with 2-3 groups at once. I will always do my best to reply when I can, I just ask you be patient with me and can 100% say that during the first few weeks of a raid tier dropping, I won't be able to do any RPs in game as I'll be busy capping tomes etc.Current Schedule
